Anonymous, 20 hours agoShould have 13 ultra cam setup you cannot. 1 inch sensor is large and thick. then some more complex mechanism like for image stabilization.. not only it made the battery smaller though. but it is also makes it heavy. if you want the same photo quality as 13 ultra then buy dslr..

As I have said 10000x, warranty is nulified IF YOU SUBMERGE ON PURPOSE. Not if phone falls in the water BY ACCIDENT. Also the 6 means PROTECTION AGAINST DUST that comes in and can damage inside. I guess you have seen what dirt can cause to computers.
Not my fault if in 2023 xiaomi still does not know how properly seal a phone, something phones from japan have since 2011.
Iphone is assembled in China. That is different from being full of components made by chinese companies with the purpose to decrease costs.
Samsung does not make glass, samsung purchases. Like all oher brands.
Mediatek P series was nothing bad, chips were wasted on lame phones by xiaomi and oppo. G Series are crap. None of them has A77/A78/A55 cores.
Still want to you to tell me why €1600 euros phones have cheap screen Even Tiamna is better than China ⭐️. Tiamna screens are awful.
I want to see mi 12 pro with IP00 do same ….

Even something budget drage like A04 or redmi 9A can withstand few rain drops.
Thats not a problem.
Make sme underwater photos of sea world then talk about IP resistance.
Under a water tank conditions everybody is boss.
Be more than just average. Take your phone to the sea swim with it, dive with it then say how is protected.

You say on purpose to justify xiaomi phones sold at €900 without even IP54. Phones that costed less than $350 to be made.
My previous phone has IP68. I could easily use anywhere, if it was raining.
Could clear it when it was dirty.
Take to shower to listen to music, no worry with it gets wet or the steam .

As ridiculous as it may be to put the 13 ultra camera set up in there, they REALLY should. I understand it’ll have to be thickish, but that is an entirely worth it sacrifice for such an amazing set of cameras.

At least that’s how it is on this site. So no they don’t get a free pass.
WoW IP rating.
On a phone which aint waterproof just water resistant and no company is willing to include water damage into regular warranty whole IP certification is nothing just an epensive gimmick.
If i buy for example case from Alliexpress which makes my phone water proof and pay 2 euros for it it will make my phone way more protected than false IP certification which aint included into a regular warranty.
