Another trough over Northeast India will produce heavy rain over parts of the region for several days.
Meanwhile, a third trough lying over northern Central India along with the approaching Western Disturbances will produce light to moderate rains across the northern plains, including NCR, for several days starting Sunday, April 30.
Under the influence of the above systems, the following weather conditions are expected across India:
Central India: Scattered/fairly widespread rainfall with thunderstorm/lightning/gusty winds (40-50 kmph) may lash parts of Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh during the next five days. South India: Scattered/fairly widespread rainfall with thunderstorm/lightning/gusty winds (40-50 kmph) may drench Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala and Mahe during this period. Furthermore, heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places over Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal until April 3, North Interior Karnataka on April 29, South Interior Karnataka from April 29- May 1, and Telangana from April 29-30.

West India: Light isolated to scattered rainfall with thunderstorm/lightning very likely over Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada, and light isolated rainfall over Gujarat state until May 3.
