JAPANESE TV giant Sony has launched a new set of BRAVIA TVs in the X75L series in India. The Google TV panels are HDR-compliant and support picture upscaling by the 4K processor X1. The base variant starts from Rs 69,990. Sony is a popular brand in the TV market for high-quality colour reproduction on its big screens.
Here is a specifications overview of the TVs in the new lineup.
Sony X75L BRAVIA TVs Specifications
The TVs come in four screen sizes – 43, 50, 55 and 65 inches with narrow bezels and a slim blade stand. An LCD panel has a resolution of 3840 x 2160 with a 50Hz refresh rate. The offerings support HDR 10 and HLG. All TVs have two 10W Open Baffle speakers with Dolby Audio.
For enhanced multimedia experience, it supports upscaling of 2K content to 4K. Motionflow XR 200 adds extra frames to videos for a smooth transition between frames. Speaking of picture performance, a 4K processor X1 with 4K X-Reality PRO and Live Colour Technology. Moving to memory, the offerings pack 16GB onboard memory.
Coming to the software, the TVs come with Android TV OS with Google TV. A buyer can download apps from Google Play Store. Plus, the big screens support auto-switching to Game mode when connected to PS5. On top of this, Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) ensures instant response in games.
It supports Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for voice controls. The software bundles apps like Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, Apple TV and Disney+Hotstar, which can be accessed after purchasing their subscription plans. The offerings have Chromecast built-in and support Apple AirPlay and Apple Homekit.
