New Delhi,UPDATED: Aug 14, 2023 12:07 IST
Realme will soon launch the Realme 11 and Realme 11X after unveiling the Realme 11 Pro series in India in June 2023. Ahead of the official launch, Realme has confirmed that the regular Realme 11 5G features a 108-megapixel primary camera and 67W fast charging support. The Realme 11X 5G is also poised to feature a similar fast charging tech with support for high-speed 5G browsing speeds. Realme is yet to announce the upcoming phones’ launch date for the Indian market.
In a press statement, Realme adds that the Realme 11 uses the Samsung HM6 sensor for the primary camera. The phone offers 3x in-sensor zoom, which is touted to provide results equivalent to zoomed-in shots comparable to those taken with 3X optical zoom. Realme is also promising a processing speed for images and improved focus. It adds that this advancement results in “focus accuracy that is nine times higher than devices equipped with the HM2 sensor.” The camera will also include new filters, including Tranquil, Crisp, and Cinematic.
Speaking about the 67W charging speed, Realme states the Realme 11 5G can attain a 50 per cent charge in 17 minutes and a 100 per cent battery in 47 minutes. The phone includes a 5,000mAh battery. Ahead of the launch, Realme 11 5G’s design has been teased on the official website. The phone features flat edges inspired by the iPhone 12. The poster also confirms a fingerprint scanner embedded into the power button and a 3.5mm audio jack at the bottom. The front includes a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera and the back features a round module for the dual rear cameras.
The official poster also suggests that the India-specific Realme 11 5G bears similarities to the Realme 11 5G launched in Taiwan last month. The phone draws power from MediaTek’s Dimensity 6100+ SoC paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage. The rear panel also includes a 2-megapixel secondary camera with an f/2.4 aperture and an 89.1-degree field-of-view. For selfies and video chats, the Realme 11 5G comes with a 16-megapixel camera with an f/2.45 aperture.
Other features include a 6.72-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC. On the other hand, the Realme 11X 5G is also tipped to feature a similar design based on a render shared by 91Mobiles. The phone may use a different processor.
Realme 11 and Realme 11X are expected to cost under Rs 20,000 in India. The phones will rival Xiaomi’s new Redmi 12 series and Samsung Galaxy M14.
