Ahead of the official launch, the company confirmed a lot of details, giving us an idea of what to expect from its next offering. The 5G phone will be made available for purchase through Flipkart. If you are excited about the upcoming Nothing phone, then keep reading to know about 10 things that the company has revealed so far.
Nothing Phone (2) launching in 10 days: 10 things we already know
-The Nothing Phone (2) will be powered by Qualcomm’s top-end Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset under the hood. The same chip is found in phones like OnePlus 11R, which is priced at Rs 39,999 in India.
-The upcoming Nothing Phone will come with the standard punch-hole display design that we have been seeing on almost all Android smartphones. This one will have a center notch on the top of the screen.
-The display is 6.7-inches in size and it will operate at Full HD+ resolution. We expect the company to offer an OLED panel on the front, just like the Nothing Phone (1).
-In a post, the company revealed that the new Nothing phone will have a Glyph Composer, which will let you personalize and remix Swedish House Mafia’s custom sounds. Nothing has also announced that the new ‘Glyph Composer’ feature will also be available on the Nothing Phone (1) smartphone, suggesting that this will be part of the latest Nothing OS 2.0 version.
-The teasers released by the company suggest that the Nothing Phone (2) has a semi-transparent back panel design with a new light and sound setup, which looks pretty cool. It shows changes in the appearance of the LED strip and wireless charging coil. Both elements are now broken into multiple parts. So, users get more options to customize different lights and accordingly compose sound for it.
-Under the hood, there is a slightly bigger 4,700mAh battery. While Nothing hasn’t revealed the charging details of the new phone, we expect it to offer support for fast charging tech because the same was also available with the Nothing Phone (1).
-Nothing has already confirmed that the latest Phone (2) smartphone will be eligible to receive three years of major Android OS upgrades and four years of security patches. Though, this is a bit less than what Samsung is offering with some of its mid-range phones. The recently launched Galaxy F54 will be eligible to receive four years of Android OS updates.
-The upcoming Nothing Phong (2) will likely ship with Android 13 OS out of the box because the company offers the latest operating system with its new device.
-The Nothing Phone (2) is already up for pre-order on Flipkart and the company has announced sale offers that will be available during the pre-order event. Consumers will get a 50 percent discount on Nothing accessories.
