The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has declared the result of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2023 on Monday, March 14. The result is available on the official website of NBE at natboard.edu.in. Candidates who appeared for the examination can check their result by logging in with their roll number and date of birth.
According to the official notice released by the NBE, a total of 1,40,000 candidates had registered for the NEET PG 2023 examination, out of which 1,30,000 candidates had appeared for the examination. The examination was conducted on February 20, 2023, in online mode across 819 exam centres in 162 cities across the country.
The cut-off score for the NEET PG 2023 examination has also been released. Candidates who have secured the minimum qualifying percentile will be eligible for the further admission process. The minimum qualifying percentile for general category candidates is 50th percentile, while for the reserved category candidates, it is 40th percentile. The cut-off score for the general category candidates is 366, while for the reserved category candidates, it is 319.
NEET PG is a national level entrance examination conducted for admission to various postgraduate medical courses such as Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS), and Postgraduate Diploma courses. The examination is conducted annually by the National Board of Examinations (NBE).
Candidates who have qualified for the NEET PG 2023 examination will be eligible to participate in the counselling process for admission to various postgraduate medical courses. The counselling process will be conducted by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
