As per the government’s mandate, a certain percentage of seats in every course in Indian educational institutions are reserved for different categories of students. The Economically Weaker Section (GEN-EWS) is allocated 10% of the total seats. Non-Creamy Layer Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) are allotted 27% of the seats, while Scheduled Castes (SC) are allocated 15% of the seats. Scheduled Tribes (ST) are reserved 7.5% of the total seats in every course.

The JEE Mains 2023 result is expected to be announced today.

There are no age restrictions for candidates who wish to appear in the JEE Main 2023. Those who have cleared their class 12 or equivalent exams in 2021 or 2022 or are currently enrolled and will be appearing for the same in 2023, can participate in the JEE Main 2023 examination, regardless of their age. However, candidates may need to meet the age requirements of the institute(s) they are interested in joining.

Once you click on it, a PDF will appear on the screen. You can then check the answers and download the answer key for future reference.

To check their JEE Main 2023 session 2 result, candidates need to visit the official website, which is jeemain.nta.nic.in 2023. Once on the homepage, they need to find and click on the link that says ‘JEE Mains 2023 session 2 result’. They will be prompted to enter their application number, password, and security pin. The results for the Joint Entrance Examination JEE (Main) – 2023 will be kept on record for a period of 90 days starting from the day the results are announced.

As per NTA, “No grievance with regard to answer key(s) after the declaration of result/NTA Score of JEE (Main) – 2023 will be entertained.”

As per media reports, around 8 lakh candidates appeared for JEE Mains session 2 exams.

The Bombay High Court today will be hearing the 75% eligibility criteria plea, FPJ has reported citing advocate Anubha Sahai.
“The marks scored by them is not a true reflection of their actual ability therefore those students with less marks than the eligibility criteria (75 per cent) for this year’s examinations can score very high marks in the upcoming JEE Main 2023, and if a fair chance is denied to them that will affect the future (of) lakhs of bright (candidates),” PIL submitted in court has said.

 As per NTA, “No grievance with regard to answer key(s) after the declaration of result/NTA Score of JEE (Main) – 2023 will be entertained.”  

The cut off of JEE Advance will also be releasing after the session 2 results are out. Experts told Times Now that the cut off for JEE Advanced will likely be 89 to 91 percentile points. 

As per FAQ, a candidate has a choice to appear in one or both sessions. He/ she will be awarded NTA score in each session based on his performance. The candidate’s best NTA Scores of all the sessions in which he/ she has appeared will be considered for preparation of Merit List/ Ranking.

Currently, there is no official announcement by the NTA on the JEE Main results. Report by TOI has stated that the results will likely be declared today at 7 pm. Candidates are advised to check the official website for updates jeemain.nta.nic.in

Along with the JEE Main 2023 results, the NTA will also announce names Toppers list in terms of state-wise, gender-wise and overall.

JEE Mains result 2023: Answer key was released on April 19

The answer key was released on April 19, 2023. Candidates were able to raise objections till April 21.

The result of JEE (Main) – 2023 can be utilized by other Entities of Central/State Governments with their eligibility criteria/norms/applicable regulations/guidelines/rules.
