The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Sirmaur has achieved a significant milestone by successfully completing the summer internship placement process for its largest-ever batch of 312 students.
The institute proudly announced the highest domestic stipend offered, amounting to Rs 2 lakh for the internship period.
INTERNATIONAL OFFERS
IIM Sirmaur received a total of 11 international offers, indicating a growing trend towards global exposure and opportunities for students.
These offers open doors for students to work in diverse locations including Mauritius, Russia, and the UAE, showcasing the institute’s global reach and network.
WIDE ARRAY OF RECRUITERS
With over 140 recruiters participating in the placement process, students were presented with a plethora of internship opportunities spanning various sectors and domains.
Leading companies such as Accenture, Ernst & Young, HDFC Bank, Tech Mahindra, and more offered enticing internship roles in consulting, finance, HR, marketing, operations, and strategy, among others.
FOCUS ON TOURISM MANAGEMENT
As the only IIM offering an MBA in Tourism Management, IIM Sirmaur attracted recruiters from the tourism industry, including Air India, Cordelia Cruises, and EaseMyTrip, among others.
This unique programme provided students with exclusive opportunities tailored to the tourism sector, highlighting the institute’s commitment to diverse specialisations and industry relevance.
