The response sheets were released on February 15, and the provisional answer key was released on February 19 and candidates were asked to send their feedback between February 22 to 25. Following the review of objections raised by candidates, the authorities will release the final answer key, and the result will be announced on March 16, 2024. The GATE 2024 exam was held on February 3, 4, 10, and 11.

This time, the exam conducting body has released two videos on mental health for the aspirants. “The Covid-19 pandemic had an enormous impact on the students. Competitive exams can be quite stressful to candidates. Every now and then, we keep hearing unfortunate news about candidates resorting to extreme measures because of examination stress or because they did not qualify a certain exam. At GATE, we would like to promote a healthy competition among the candidates. We place overall individual wellness, both physical and mental, above success in an examination. Hence, we got those wellness videos filmed and posted them on our social media,” said Chandra Sekhar Seelamantula from the GATE 2024 organising team.
