Jamshedpur, July 4: Jamshedpur Women’s University (JWU) has started the process of enrollment in graduation in science, commerce and arts stream.
For this, the application has started on the Chancellor portal, the last date of which is 15 July. After that, on July 18, the merit list will be published by the university, on the basis of which admission will be taken.
A notification has been issued by the university, in which it has been clarified that the girl students appearing in CUET (Common University Entrance Test) will be given priority in admission on the basis of their scores. After that seats remain vacant, then those girl students who have not appeared in CUET, their admission will be taken on the basis of merit list.
Girl students who have appeared in CUET can apply for admission in the university. Along with this, those girl students who have not appeared in CUET can also apply. Options for both are given in the Chancellor Portal.
It has been told by the university that the first merit list will be published on July 18. With this, the verification of the certificates of the girl students selected in the first merit list will be started from the same day itself, which will continue till July 22.
Admission can be taken on the basis of first merit list from 19th to 25th July. Whereas, the second merit list will be published on July 27. Along with this, verification of certificates will be done till 2nd August and admission will be taken from 28th to 3rd August. After publishing the third merit list on August 5, the verification of certificates will be started from the same day. The verification of certificates will be done by August 7. Admission can be taken from 5 to 10 August. Meanwhile, there will be an orientation program for the newly enrolled girl students on 7th August. After this, the classes for the new session will start from 8th August.
