Counselling application correction window closes today

All candidates who appeared for the NEET PG 2023 exam will be eligible to participate in the postgraduate medical counselling process, after the office of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) reduced the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2023 qualifying percentile to zero across all categories.

As the date for counselling for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG 2023) approaches, the Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE) Kerala is all set to close the correction window for Kerala NEET PG Counselling 2023 on October 3.

A notification posted on the official website states that candidates can access their details via the candidate portal on the official website,

Applicants can review and change the details which they have uploaded, such as personal information, including name, NEET-PG Roll Number, score, rank, reservations, family income, nativity, minority status, and NRI claims.

Applicants can access the option to change their details by logging onto the candidate portal using their application number and password.

It is to be noted applicants of Indian origin, Kerala origin, or a Person of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) with Kerala roots are eligible for applying to NEET PG 2023. Aspirants who have pursued their MBBS degree in Kerala and chosen Kerala as their domicile, even if their parents are non-Keralites, are also eligible.

There’s no upper age limit for PG Medical course admissions, and aspirants with an MBBS degree or a pass certificate from an MCI-recognized medical college are eligible.

Aspirants for postgraduate must be registered with either the Medical Council of India (MCI) or the State Medical Council (SMC), and also produce their registration certificate during the application.

Completion of a one-year rotatory internship on or before March 31, 2023, along with the corresponding certificate and meeting the NEET PG 2023 cutoff is mandatory for eligibility.

The office of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has reduced the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2023 qualifying percentile to zero across all categories.

“The qualifying percentile for PG Courses (Medical/ Dental) for NEET PG Counselling 2023 has been reduced to ‘ZERO’ across all categories by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare,” the statement said.

Thus, all candidates who appeared for the NEET PG 2023 exam will be eligible to participate in the postgraduate medical counselling process.
