The process for admissions to 43 post graduate degree programmes offered by the Central University of Punjab (Bathinda) that commenced on March 20 will continue until May 5. The university invites admission applications for PG Programmes through the Common University Entrance Test (PG)-2023.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the Common University Entrance Test (CUET), for which the extended last date to submit an online application is May 5, 2023. Students can check details of courses available, participating universities, examination pattern, examination syllabus, etc. from the NTA website – cuet.nta.nic.in.

As the last date to submit online applications through CUET (PG) 2023 is approaching, Prof. Raghavendra P. Tiwari, the Vice Chancellor of CUPB, has appealed to the students of Punjab state to apply for CUET (PG) 2023 and take advantage of the opportunity to get quality higher education at an affordable cost by getting admission at the Central University of Punjab. He mentioned that the fee structure of PG programmes, including admission fee, course fee, hostel fee, etc., is designed to provide quality education at an affordable cost to students in our country.

He asserted that the university provides quality teaching and research facilities on its 500-acre lush green Wi-Fi-enabled campus, with well-equipped research laboratories, a resource-rich central library, a hi-tech computer centre, smart classroom facility, audio visual studio, central instrumentation laboratory, low-cost hostel facility, AC Classrooms, and other essential amenities.

Prof. Tiwari stressed that it is a matter of great satisfaction that the university has been accredited with ‘A+’ grade by the NAAC in its second cycle of accreditation and has secured the 81st position in the NIRF in 2022 in the university category. He shared that the university has meritorious faculty; some of them are fellows in elite academic societies and featured in the international scientist list. Presently, the university is providing holistic and quality education in a wide range of disciplines to students studying here from more than 27 states, 7 Union Territories of India, and international students from 16 foreign countries to turn them into global intellectual citizens.

Prof. Tiwari underlined that all the PG programmes offered at CUPB focus on the skill development of learners, keeping in mind the industry’s requirements. The holistic and quality education offered at CUPB trains our students to be future-ready in academics, industry, administration, and other walks of life. “In spite of all this, the number of students from Punjab State in our university is less. Therefore, I appeal to students of Punjab to get quality higher education at an affordable cost by taking admissions at CUPB”, said Prof. Tiwari.

According to the Admissions Branch, candidates who are desirous of applying for the CUET (PG)-2023 exam for admissions to PG programmes offered by CUPB may check details on the university’s official website – cup.edu.in.
