However, a tipster going by the Twitter handle @analyst941 is now suggesting that the company might also introduce the ability to pair the Apple Watch to multiple devices including iPads and Macs.
Since its launch in 2014, Apple has restricted users from being able to tie their smartwatches to multiple devices like iPhones. Another thing to note is that since the Apple Watch cannot connect to anything other than the iPhone, users were required to get an iPhone or borrow one if they wanted to set up their smartwatch.
Once an Apple Watch is linked to an iPhone as a primary device, users can sync their fitness data to the cloud linked to their Apple accounts and use the Watch to unlock their Mac.
While the tweet suggests Apple will bring the ability to pair and sync the Apple Watch with various devices, it gives no details on how and when it will be rolled out to the general public.
