Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has launched a 12-weeks long online meditation course, named ‘Mastery Over Mind’. Interested candidates can apply for the online meditation course on the official website — amrita.edu.
The first round of online meditation courses will begin on July 16. This programme is open to all, regardless of background, but applicants must be fluent in English. Individuals can register for the Mastery Over Mind online meditation course and reserve their places at the official website.
The programme will feature the self-paced learning, live interactions, video talks by esteemed monastics and faculty of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, the weekly step-by-step guided meditation practices, six free webinars and Q&A sessions, also there will be reflective questions, community discussions and activities.

The online registration fee to apply for the course is Rs 3500 or $ 300. The online meditation course will have three modules. After every module, there will be a live session with students and a quiz on the covered topics. Every week will last for 45 mins approx and every module will consist of an Induction ceremony. In module 1, individuals have to discover the significance and benefits of meditation, while in module 2 and 3 individuals have to explore the relationship between mind and meditation and cultivate happiness and compassion through meditation. In the end, there will be a closing session.
