Touted to be a celebration of friendship, the Farhan Akhtar directorial venture will be written by Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar.

Jee Le Zaraa will go on floors by end of year

Well, we have some good news for you all! The renowned writer Reema Kagti recently revealed that the film will go on floors by the end of the year. She told Indian Express, “We will start shooting by the end of the year. We are looking forward to it and are really excited.”

Meanwhile, in March this year, filmmaker Farhan Akhtar shared a picture on Instagram as he commenced the recce of Jee Le Zaraa. In the picture, he can be seen exploring the deserts of Rajasthan. The Rock On actor tagged Alia, Priyanka, and Katrina in the picture, and wrote, “Searching for gold #locationscout #jeelezaraa #rajasthan”. Alia Bhatt commented, “Can’t waittttt,” while Katrina wrote, “So exciting.”

Jee Le Zaraa is one of the most awaited films in recent times. As per the reports, Shah Rukh Khan will have a cameo in Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa . A report by Box Office Worldwide claims that King Khan, who was recently seen in special appearances in Pathaan, Brahmastra, Laal Singh Chaddha, and Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, will be seen in a brief cameo in the upcoming multistarrer.

Meanwhile, talking about Farhan Akhtar’s directorial journey, he last directed film was Don 2 starring Shah Rukh Khan. The film, which released in 2011, is the second installment in the ‘Don’ reboot series. The film’s story takes place 5 years after the previous film when Don (Shah Rukh Khan), a ruthless international drug lord, plans to take over the European drug cartel. Meanwhile, Roma ( Priyanka Chopra ) has joined the Interpol to hunt him down.
