Acer announced new TravelMate business laptops that feature 13th Gen Intel Core vPro processors and 16:10 displays with OLED resolutions as an option.
The laptops also have 65Wh batteries that support fast charging, and a fingerprint reader or IR camera for log-in security. These laptops are aimed to meet the performance and mobility needs of today’s hybrid workforce.
Acer TravelMate P6 14: Specs & Features
The new TravelMate P6 14 is a premium business laptop for mobile professionals and executives. It has a 2.8K OLED display panel with a 16:10 aspect ratio and 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space.
It also has 13th Gen Intel Core i7 processors, Intel vPro, and an Intel Evo design, as well as 32 GB LPDDR5 memory and a 65 Wh battery that supports fast charging. It has an FHD IR webcam, Acer PurifiedVoice technology, and speakers with DTS Audio for online meetings and video calls.
It has a PrivacyPanel feature that obscures viewing angles beyond 90°. It also has 2×2 Wi-Fi 6E and 5G connectivity for wireless internet connection.
Acer TravelMate P4 14 & Acer TravelMate P4 Spin 14: Specs & Features
The TravelMate P4 14– and 16-inch versions, and the TravelMate P4 Spin laptops have 13th Gen Intel Core i7 vPro processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 GPUs.
The TravelMate P4 14 has a magnesium-alloy chassis and a 16:10 thin bezel display with up to 2.2K resolution.
The TravelMate P4 Spin 14 has a Corning Gorilla Glass, a touchscreen panel with up to WUXGA resolutions, and a dockable stylus for handwritten note-taking.
Acer TravelMate P2 14 & Acer TravelMate P2 16: Specs & Features
The TravelMate P2 series laptop has a 14- and 16-inch 16:10 WUGXA screen with an IPS wide-angle view of up to 170 degrees. The laptop features 13th Gen Intel Core processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 GPUs.
It also has a larger touchpad, keys with a 1.55mm travel distance, and a 180-degree hinge that allows the laptop to lay flat.
It has Wi-Fi 6E and 4G LTE support, as well as a Thunderbolt 4 Type C port that supports 40 Gbps data transfer and dual 4K displays.
Acer TravelMate Laptop Series: Features
The new TravelMate business laptops feature Windows 11 and Acer Dust Defender technology to reduce dust and maintain performance. They also have Acer Light Sensing technology, which detects ambient color and light and adjusts the display accordingly.
They have a Windows secured-core PC with TPM 2.0 for security and Acer User Sensing technology, which locks the screen when you leave and wakes it up when you return.
The laptops have commercial keyboards with larger touchpads, quieter clicks, and keys with a 1.55 mm travel distance. The laptops also use PCR plastic and ocean-bound plastic in the device, as well as recyclable packaging.
Pricing & Availability
The new Acer TravelMate laptops will be available in North America, EMEA, and China starting from May to July. The prices range from USD 849.99 to USD 1,249.99 in North America, from EUR 999 to EUR 1,399 in EMEA, and from RMB 5,499 to RMB 8,999 in China.
Acer has not revealed pricing information for India at the time of writing.
